Basic Lifestyle Guidelines ("BLGs") are the foundation upon which we build the rest of our lives. If we have a strong foundation, we can handle whatever comes our way. They allow us to get the most out of our training, but also give us a baseline of health when things in our life are going sideways. The more rhythmic our lifestyles, the more chaos we can handle in the real world.
